The River (JG)
The river
An old man
looking at a river
sees the river.
No metaphors
no magic
no memories
of dawn sunrise
streaming the water.
Just the river, the water gray
and dirty moving someplace
he will never see.
John Guzlowski and Martin Stepek are two successful poets. They have collaborated in creating hundreds of micro-poems, the one poet sparking a response from the other. Now they have decided to create a separate space where they could continue this co-creating until one or other kicks the bucket, at which point the survivor will re-post the first poem and it truly will become a never-ending poem. The two poets hope you enjoy reading the poems as much as they enjoy writing them.
